I’m a writer, editor, and researcher interested in urban geography, political economy, and public things. I have reported and written about housing, climate change, school segregation, police and prisons, waste management, disaster planning, and the long history of debt cancellation. I’ve also written literary criticism, essays, profiles, poetry, and fiction; made short audio documentaries; and contributed to public exhibitions, educational curricula, and community organizing tools. I make images, too.

I’m based in New York City, and I’m available for freelance editing, writing, and graphic design work. CV and work samples available on request.
